DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK VIA ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

Your safari guide picks you in the morning and you start the journey to Murchison Falls national park for our Murchison Falls & Kibale Forest safari. Along the way we make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to Uganda. Here you make a trek to see the rhinos close up. You have lunch along the way and continue on to the lodge just outside Murchison Falls NP.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT-CRUISE ON THE NILE

Take an early cup of tea/coffee at and then set off for a game-drive in the park. You have the chance of seeing Big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76. We continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. Enjoy a relaxed lunch and then in the afternoon 3 hour boat ride to the base of the falls where you get to see the Hippos (You have never seen more hippos yawning, Grooming in there Pods anywhere else than here- Believe me you)! Nile Crocodiles, Elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the banks. If you are a keen birder this might be your magnet to catch them. After the boat-cruise we head back to the lodge.

Day 1 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning. The target for the day is Queen Elizabeth National park. Our first stop on the way is by the equator to get the experience of standing with one foot on either side of the southern- and northern hemispheres. Continue on for lunch in the town of Mbarara and then do the last part of the journey through rolling hills with tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Experience the amazing mix that Uganda can offer during this 7 day Uganda safari with Gorilla trekking, chimps trekking, and classic game drives on the savanna searching for lions and zebras. On this safari, you’ll go for game drives on the savannas in Queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Mburo national park as well as go trekking chimps in Kalinzu forest and Gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park. Mixed in is an evening by beautiful Lake Bunyonyi to relax after the gorilla trekking.

Arrive and transfer to Murchison Falls where you expect a boat trip to the base of the falls and game drive. Head to Kibale for chimp tracking and also explore the crater lakes. From Kibale, transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. Enjoy the big game sighting plus launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. Proceed to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience and go have relaxation in Lake Bunyonyi. Exit Bunyonyi for Lake Mburo NP and enjoy a park walk plus some game drive. Fly out from Entebbe Airport.

National Parks: Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi Impenetrable NP

Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is in the Western Region of Uganda, spanning the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi, and Rukungiri. The park is approximately 400 kilometers (250 mi) by road southwest of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. The city of Kasese lies to the northeast of the park, while the town of Rubirizi is to the southeast.

On this 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari you’ll experience some of the best of what Uganda has to offer, with animals of the savanna and primates of the forest. You’ll see elephants, buffaloes, hippos and search for lions as well as trek chimpanzees in Kalinzu forest. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to almost 100 mammals species including four of “the big 5”; lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant. The park has scenic nature with the Rwenzori mountains as a backdrop.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO AREA BY KIBALE FOREST

Early transfer – Swift out of the city, it’s around a 5hrs drive with our target to have lunch in Fortportal town and proceed for an evening around the crater area with pressure and fatigue lessened during punctuation of stopovers at sceneries, typical African village setup in the far countryside and tea plantations along the drive offer us chances of stretching. There is an amazing display of primates in this area over the craters, monkey species that can be seen are for example black and white colobus, red colobus, red tailed monkey and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

We shall take two different trails and we shall Hike from Tutume, Kajeri, Mude, Mude..We shall be sleeping at Mude Camp for two nights and the fourth day we shall be hiking to the summit so you will need to have enough rest to gain enough energy. This will not be a circle circuite because we shall be coming out of the mountain after spending two nights at Mude camp,

For the game-drives we focus on the southern Ishasha sector of the park, known for its tree-climbing lions. Spend the first two nights by the southern Ishasha sector and then make the journey northwards on the adventurous road through the park. You then continue the 4-days Queen Elizabeth safari by going for a boat-cruise on Kazinga channel and spending the last night with views of the park before finishing off with chimps trekking in Kalinzu forest.
